SSI Dive Guide (ISO24801-3) Course

As an SSI Dive Guide, your mission will be to inspire and influence other divers, increase your own knowledge, skills & experience by planning and leading dives. As there is a strong demand in the recreational diving industry for individuals who can share their love of the sport and the underwater world with others, the Dive Guide program will train you to be a well-prepared, versatile and marketable dive professional. It is also the first step to becoming a SSI Open Water Instructor. This course is intended to be a fun challenging learning experience where you will be expected to ask questions and take an active role in the training process. Your basics skills will be refined and tested as you develop into a capable and professional dive leader.

SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Speciality

SSI Navigation Speciality

After Downloading the MySSI App, you will have to enroll with the Dive Guide Course, then you will get the digital Learning Material with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress, and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.

After this course, you will be able to:

  • Guide certified divers on recreational scuba dives.
  • Teach, Supervise and issues recognition cards for the SSI Snorkel Diver Course
  • Qualify for the SSI Divemaster rating after completing the SSI Science of Diving Speciality Course
